1950s Colt Model 357 revolver

Next on the chopping block:

1950s Colt revolver. Old timer I got it from best described it as a trooper front end and a python rear. The action is amazing both single and double. It has been shot as Im not a millionaire and not a collector. Some Colt guys may fall over dead. I have shot 38 and 357 factory loads never hot rounds and never reloads. Original box is included which is a rare deal. I will not ship this firearm but I will meet anywhere around Sahuarita and Tucson. We can do a FTF transfer and LE or CCW credentials will be required and photo'd and bill of sale filled out. Link to pics below. No trades really at this time. Does the box have the foam insert or just an outer box with a loose pistol inside? Model described is 357?. I am a sucker for older revolvers, specially the Pythons... but I don't really know anything about this particular model.

There is no insert that I got and not sure during the sell of these if there was. Colt collector might be able to tell ya. Guy I bought it off was old HWY patrol and he had to be in his 70s. Side of the box is a large yellow Colt sticker and matches the model of the pistol, length, and color. All I really have honestly.
