I'm selling the bulk of my 30 year gun collection to fund my retirement. Most are sold, but I'm now down to the last few, the ones that I love the most.
Not to worry, I'm keeping the best of the bunch.
I will require an Arizona driver’s licence, and I will record your name for my records. All sales will be according to Arizona law.
I will be cross-posting on other forums, and possibly GunBroker as well. All guns will be subject to first come, first served basis.
I am in Tucson, but I am willing to drive a few miles. This is negotiable.

Up next is a truly special pistol. This is a 2004 Ruger MKII Athens olympic model.

This USA Shooting Team commemorative, distributed exclusively by TALO Distributors, features a Hi-Viz® front sight and checkered thumb-rest black laminate grips. The bolt is beautifully embellished in gold and features the USA Shooting "Victory In Athens" mark exclusive to the 2004 Olympic Games. This specially serial-numbered collector's piece also comes in a unique USA Shooting/Ruger commemorative lens label box, and is priced at $499.
I purchased this pistol unfired from Gunbroker 2 years ago. I know it was unfired, because all the lube had hardened on the bolt and insides.
After cleaning and lubing the pistol, I realized the only thing missing was a trigger worthy of this special edition. I then installed this Volquartsen kit:

which gave it the crisp 2.25lb trigger it deserved. Since then, I have only test fired it for a couple of mags.
The pistol comes with everything it came with from the factory, including the special green Athens box, spare mag, lock, and all the paperwork. The serial number even starts with “USA”
How do you price a pistol like this? There were no prices to check on Gunbroker, so I recorded the first five for sale on a Google search, and the average price was $667.00.
I am asking $600.00 plus the $130.00 cost of the trigger kit. I think thats fair.
