I am between apartments in Tucson... I lived at 10905 N La Canada Dr Tucson, thats my license. I was moving out in March and Coivd hit and I have at my daughters place till things get better.. Looking at to move back into Oro Valley, so all my mailings come to NY righ now,

The weapon has to go to an FFL near your Mineola residence in NY. You will need a NY license to purchase a handgun and I am sure the FFL will ask for it. You being on an Arizona forum asking for a weapon to be shipped to NY voids any interest in me selling you one.

PS: Why mention you have an AZ License if you want a weapon shipped to NY beats me... How can you possess a NY Firearms license with an AZ DL, unless the weapon is not for you in which case I'd like to talk to the buyer being that I am an FFL.

new to hand guns...... I did not know all the restrictions. With a hand gun you need a license. I was able to purchase long guns in AZ and NY with just a background check...
NO, the guns are for me and after learning more, I am applying for a local hand gun License in NY... I was under the impression a privet sale could be done in the state of AZ where i lived until the pandemic and plan on going back once things settle down .

Yeah you can do a private sale in AZ and the weapon has to be handed to you in person in AZ or through an FFL in AZ. You cannot buy a private weapon and have it shipped to NY... that's insane.

I suggest asking local LE. Or if you aren’t looking to raise eyebrows, go ask over in the ar15.com hometown forums for NY specifically.

Unfortunately your moving from the #1 state in USA with no gun restrictions and moving to like #48...NY,CA, ETC have alot of crappy laws that limit magazine capacity and what type of gun you can even own...whatever u buy while your here with your AZ license is your business but as soon as u move over there you better reconsider what’s legal..as far as shipping to New York with just using a AZ drivers license it’s not legal..good luck and I feel sry for you that your leaving a free state...
