For private sale from my personal collection is a rare and hard to come by, 100% NIB/unfired, factory OEM Colt M4A1 LE6920SOCOM complete 16” upper. Original C stamped upper with Knights Armament rail system and heavy barrel. I’m the original owner and ended up form 1’ing the matching lower several years back and the upper now just sits untouched. I also have the original butt stock, pistol grip and trigger if you would like to add these parts as part of a package deal.

I am looking for an AR but admittedly know very little about them but I like them. I have fired one it being a Colt some time ago. I do know I don't want a butchered job and like the Colt brand. Can you help in steering me in the right direction in making this a complete rifle?

No problem at all. My upper has now sold unfortunately, but if I were you and I were looking for a reliable AR that’s not only quality but a mil-spec rifle, I’d look for Colts and anything by BCM...FN makes a decent AR as well. Really anything by some of the bigger AR names in the industry. Both are great, basic AR type setups and are built to mil-spec standards. Depending on your level of familiarity with the platform, mil-spec means it was built to military specifications and being that there are SO many out there, it makes finding replacement parts much easier, where proprietary parts are very specific to a specific AR... any mil-spec parts will be compatible no matter who they’re made by which will offer you more in the way of longevity.

As for where to find them right now, that’s a tough one as the buying frenzy is like never before with grandpa Joe and the extreme left having complete power in DC. Try setting up notification requests at some of the bigger distributor websites and be quick to act if you get a back in stock email...keep an eye out here on the forums, or be willing to dive into the price gouging world of gunbroker.com depending on how willing you are to overpay.
