savage parts

Savage rifle started giving me problems. Was hanging up when trying to work the bolt pulled the bolt to clean and noticed the bolt head retaining pin was cracked in half and missing part of it. Is there anywhere in the valley that would have a replacement pin

I have searched high and low for the same pin. Not to be found anywhere I looked, new or used. They made them with 2 different firing pin hole diameters. I ended up making one for my customer. Worked fine testing it but I don't know if it is a forever fix,yet.

The only real option I could come up with for a factory pin would be to buy a used bold and salvage the pin from it into your bolt. But, you gotta make sure it's the same size inner hole.
