Please forgive me here. I inherited this from my Grandfather that has dementia. I own many firearms however, this is not one that I will ever use. This is a competition over-under shotgun with changeable tubes for different gauge shells as well as different chokes. I have all of the tools and some of the original paperwork (I have the purchase paperwork somewhere but need to find it). Brand new, this set up was over $9000. I am looking to get $7000-8000 for it, at least. I am very worried about selling a firearm to a random stranger so any tips to make sure the transaction goes smooth and I do not get shot, killed, and / or robbed, would be great. I want to stay away from auction houses because they do not allow reserves and I do not want to see this go for $1000. If you know of a local shop that might be interested in buying this, please let me know. If you yourself are interested, let me know. I am in no hurry! Thank you.
