SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
Stevens 311 coach gun.
During a brief vacation from work in 2020(you know the one), I modified and restored this Stevens 311h. I can verify the gun was manufactured between the late 60’s and early 80’s and can fire modern shells. It’s chambered for 12g 3” and 2 3/4” shells. I refinished the stock, and took down the barrels(barrels are over 18”, and total length exceeds 26” as required by law respectively). Bores are nice shiny and clean. It has a nice tight fit. A case hardened receiver(receiver has a light surface rust, that I was timid to remove in fear of loosing the bluing). The bluing on the barrels is in good shape. The stock itself is free of any scratches dents or dings. It has a light wood in appearance and is sealed. The checkering has a light mahogany stain that’s visible when the light hits it just right. The gap between the barrels was hard soldered after the cut and should be well within half inch depth. The cut and solder were sealed with perma blue. The firearm itself appeared to have little use prior to my possession. If desired I can include a bit, tap and bead for a front sight install.
Ive test fired two boxes of shells with no problems(yes, even both triggers at the same time). Nice tight lockup. American made coach gun, sXs classic. Fun little gun for home defense, or bird hunting. It would make a great candidate for SASS shooting.
id like to trade for an o/u in 12 or perhaps 20 gauge. I’m also interested in other side by sides, but am predominantly interested in trade for an over under. Firearm for trade must be in good working order. Cosmetic blemishes really aren’t a problem for me.
Trader to meet at Basspro off the 101.
Thanks for viewing the ad, and I hope the weekend is treating you all well. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
AZ residents only. Those interested in trade must be of legal age, and ability to trade and own firearms legally.
