AR Bump fire issues

Looking for info/suggestions related to an AR with a Bump-fire. I put a new Bump-fire stock on an AR. The problem I'm having is the bolt does not move foreword fast. The action is very slow, hence there is no rapid fire. I have done a strip clean twice, done a visual inspection for any obvious wear/restrictions. So, the question would be, what would impede the action of the system? Or any gun smiths that are reliable for problem solving for AR's?

Did your AR function fine before adding the bumpstock? The biggest problem with the bumpstock is, that if not properly used it creates malfunctions and will not work. That why it is a novelty item, not very useful!
