Locations around the Tucson Area

I've been looking around Tucson and the surrounding area for good spots and public land places to go shooting recently and no luck. Usually I go up the road to Summerhaven or the Pima Shooting range but recently just too much of a hassle. Looking for something closer and probably wouldn't need a truck or 4x4.

The Redington Pass one I'll have to pass on but the one out by Vail looks promising.

You will have to be careful out there, I'm not sure who owns the land and there are more houses being built in Vail. And the Arizona trail etc are nearby. But the area is sort of remote desert as well.

I haven't been yet but a friend goes to an area called Red Rock that they seem to like.
