I am seeing a lot of out of state parties attempting to register here, and they are misrepresenting location etc.

Don't get suckered into a sale or purchase that can result in either a visit to local LE internet crimes unit to report you were scammed, or a visit to club FED because you were so desperate to/focused on making a sale.

This is a big season for sales in the 2A community.

DON'T GET BURNED

On a side note to this.....

If members start blatantly hosing up their ads/posts and such, be prepared for it to get deleted outright.

These last several days there has been an uptick in this type of activity, wrong subforum, lack of info, pics, prices, etc.

This site is FREE to use, and if an account/member can't abide by the rules set in place to protect yourself as well as the other 2A enthusiasts here, I'm going to have to assume the account has been compromised and act accordingly.

If you wonder why we insist on embedded pics in our ads (not links, or "go look here" etc.), take a look here for a detailed explanation-

Understand?

Note to all…

We have a private messaging (PM) function on this forum.

My suggestion is that you use it.

I just gave someone 24hrs in the hole to reconsider how they interact with a seller in an ad.

If you disagree with a sellers price, demands etc, take it to PM. If you can’t find it in yourself to do this, you will be held accountable.

To put all this into perspective....

I just reviewed new registrations from when I was asleep last night.

5 of the 6 new registrations overnight were scam accounts.
