Storing gun safe in the garage?

Hi, in the state I am from (FL) and lived in prior to moving here (WA) I would never store guns in a garage due to humidity, wetness, etc., but is that a big issue here in So AZ Desert? Anyone here keep safes in their garages? How about storing ammo?

I and a number of people I know store their safe in the garage. At least here in AZ. Make sure you bolt it down.

I personally wouldn't store safe in a garage, too easy for someone to hook a chain up to it and jerk it out of there, even bolted down, it has been done many times. And in AZ its like 150 in the garage. Heat can effect gun furniture. Ammo shouldn't be an issue afterall it is sealed.

good point about easier to yank out, but it may be tough to do without drawing attention. Not sure my garage ever got that hot though.
