Series 35 Type 99 Arisaka out of the Toyo Kogyo factory between 1939-1945 in 7.7x58
Total hack job/sporterized by someone many, many years ago, the pics pretty much say it all.
Bore actually looks good, rifle appears to be serviceable.
Light rust all over exterior
Crack in stock that is in one of the pics.
Another “find” out of my buddies closet (and the last thing he has), that is in my possession.
Passed down from his grandfather, to his father, and then to him. He said he put maybe ten rounds through it years ago, and it was too hard in him. [emoji846]
Not something he has an interest in, and he preferred it went to someone here than in a buyback bin….
No idea of the value, so it goes up starting at 2 Benjamin’s.
If you can get it seriously cheaper somewhere else, then go ahead and do so.
