Private Party Firearm Sales Forum Rules

Welcome to the private firearm sales section of www.azgunbuy.com (http://www.azgunbuy.com). While you are using this section please follow the following rules. They are strictly enforced.

[hr:2pkcxxwj][/hr:2pkcxxwj]

Subjects
Each ad must have an accurate subject (think like a subject on an e-mail). This subject must include the item, price, and location. An acceptable example would be "Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm $500 Mesa". If your ad is trade only, then you can substitute the price with "TRADE".[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Price
[indent:2pkcxxwj]All for sale posts must have a price. "Make offer" or auction posts are not permitted. If you are listing your item for trade only then please specify so. It is also helpful to list what you're interested in trading for.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Pictures
[indent:2pkcxxwj]All for sale and for trade ads require at least one picture of the item. We do not allow you to use internet catalog images or pictures from Google Images. The pictures you use must be real pictures of your actually item that you took. Please try your best to provide good pictures that accurately represent your items condition. Our website allows you to attach pictures directly to your post. You are welcome to attach the pictures to be hosted on our website or you can host the images and use the proper BB code to insert it into your post.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Location
[indent:2pkcxxwj]On each ad you post you are required to list your location. City is the absolute minimum to list. Major cross streets are good to list but not required.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Description
[indent:2pkcxxwj]Please accurately describe your item. Is it new? Is it used? How many rounds have been fired in it? What is its general condition? etc....[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Price Gouging
[indent:2pkcxxwj]Members are free to list their item for whatever price they want. With that being said though, please keep it close to fair market value. If the community feels that you are price gouging they can (and probably will) call you out on it.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Allowed Items & Posts
[indent:2pkcxxwj]The Private Party Firearm Sales (http://www.azgunbuy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2) section is for firearms only. Silencers and other NFA will fall into the category of "firearms" for the purpose of this forum. If a 4473 is required to purchase the listed firearm then it belongs in the Dealer Firearm Sales (http://www.azgunbuy.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3) section. This particular section is strictly for classified ads. Discussion type posts should be placed in the appropriate general discussion sections.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Legal Considerations
[indent:2pkcxxwj]Any firearm sales must abide by both Arizona State Law and Federal Law. As of the time of writing this (2/2016) Arizona does not require any sort of paperwork, background check, or registration on private firearm sales. NFA sales however require additional paperwork and registration on a Federal level.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Bill of Sale
[indent:2pkcxxwj]As previously mentioned, Arizona does not require any sort of paperwork on a private party transfer. It is highly suggested though that you keep record of who you sell to or who you buy from. An excellent way to do this is for both the buyer and seller filling out a bill of sale form.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Ownership
[indent:2pkcxxwj]You must be the actual owner of a firearm that you are selling. You can not sell a gun for your mom, dad, brother, cousin, neighbor, or anyone else. If you're selling a gun, it needs to be [i]your gun.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

WTB / ISO / Want to Buy / In Search Of Ads
[indent:2pkcxxwj]Wanted ads are welcome to be posted. If you post a wanted ad, please begin the topics title with ISO or WTB.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Sold Items
[indent:2pkcxxwj]Once your item sells, please edit the post to reflect that it is sold. You can edit the subject of the post by clicking EDIT on the original post. Put the word SOLD at the beginning of the subject. Please do not try and delete posts, you do not have the ability to do so. Just place the word SOLD in the beginning of the subject.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Forum Moderation
[indent:2pkcxxwj]The administrators and moderators of this website monitor the posts in this section. If a post is found not to follow the rules the user will receive a warning. We understand that technical mistakes can happen or you can just simply overlook or forget about something. That is OK, it happens sometimes. If you get a warning, don't take it personal. Just fix what is wrong with your post and move on with things. If any user decides to throw an e-tantrum because they received a warning then they will be removed from the website.[/indent:2pkcxxwj]

Keep in mind that only 50 topics show per page. On the top and bottom right of the topic listings there is a "Go to page 1 2 3 Next" link. You can use that to navigate to the other pages. The topics (ads) that have the recent activity of them will appear on the top of the list.

If anyone has any comments, questions, or concerns please do not hesitate to voice them. You can send any of the administrators a private message or reply to this post.

Make your own topic for your ad and include pictures please. See the circled button that says NEW TOPIC on the attached image? That is how you do it.

Good afternoon,
Can I post/sell or buy guns in this site being that I live in Vermont or can I just browse through it? I don't want to break any rules being a new member. Thanks Joe

Thanks for checking first Joe. Right now the answer is no just to be straight forward and honest with you. The reason being is because this community is focused more on a local level for people in Arizona. With that said though, after this site grows some more I am considering adding a section for out of state sales. So sometime in the future that answer may change.
