Im looking to build a rifle for my oldest daughter for christmas. She loves shooting 10/22 rifles but has her idea about what she likes on the cosmetic end of things. I am looking for an old beater basic 10/22 pretty much just need a good action and trigger. planning on swapping the stock, barrel, and a bunch of other upgrades to make it into something she will like to shoot and keep when she is old enough to keep on her own. no preference on stock type wood, plastic, hell even cracked is fine. black, stainless a few dings as long as the reciever is in good shape it will work. On a budget for this part of the build as the big money is going into the barrel, bolt and other parts. i am located in the far west valley. if someone has one tucked in the back of a closet or safe they didnt know what to do with im probably interested in it. please let me know ive got just over a month to get this done.
