I was hanging onto this until after the election just in case it happened to skyrocket in value, but now that we're making America great again, I feel comfortable letting it go.
18" Springfield M1A Scout .308 that's been installed in a Troy MCS Chassis.
The chassis has a full length top rail, which allows you to run the optic of your choice, without being limited to a long eye relief "Scout" scope.
It will accept any stock that fits a mil spec buffer tube, and I've added a Smith Enterprises thread adapter so it'll accept any 5/8 x 24 muzzle device or direct thread suppressor.
A Schuster adjustable gas plug has been installed for fine tuning.
The factory gas plug is included, and can easily be reinstalled if you don't wish to make adjustments.
Furniture includes a VLTOR IMOD stock, Ergo Swift grip, BCM Mod 3 foregrip, and a set of MBUS sights.
Rifle is in great shape, cycles smoothly, and functions as it should. It's remarkably accurate at long ranges, and runs much cleaner than direct gas platforms.
Comes with:
- 9 x 20 round magazines
- 1 x 10 round factory Springfield magazine
- Set of Sadlak gas system cleaning drills
- USGI M14 Combitool
- Springfield factory documentation, manual, etc.
Asking $2000 OBO
Looking for a straight sale, but I'm not opposed to trade offers.
Interested in:
- Barebones AR-10 for an upcoming project
- Semi-auto 12ga (Benelli / Versa Max / etc.)
- MPX 9mm
- P229 9mm
- P320 9mm
- CZ P-01/75D
Located on the North side of Phoenix, willing to travel a bit if-needed.
Valid AZ DL required, CCW preferred.
Bill of sale will be completed.

Thanks for the offer,
Very interested in the 229. The wheel gun, not so much.
