Great information, thanks for sharing. There is also an excellent app that gives you up to date laws for all 50 states and can help you determine what you can and cannot travel across state lines with. The app is called Legal Heat and if I remember correctly was $0.99 for iPhone. It might be free for Android phones. Highly recommend it if you travel with a firearm.

I sent you a PM. If you don't know how to get to them, look on the top left of the site. It should say "Private messages [2]". Click there. Its a two part message.

Alan, I'm going to pin this thread to the navigation bar on the top of the webpage for now. That way we have something up there while we work on the other version of this post.

Thanks for this, it's difficult to make sure that your looking at the most current laws when online. It's always smart to cross reference and verify what the inter-web has to offer.

this is the trade off that Americans have decided to make in exchange for their "gun rights".

To put this in perspective, keep in mind that the the demographic law enforcement probably has the highest concentration of gun advocates of any. Frankly, Im encouraged that they back as much of the laws provisions as they do.

Well lets take for example texting and driving. We all know its one of the dumbest things you can be doing while driving but sure as shit people are still doing it. Do we need a law to punish those who do it or keep preaching till we are blue in face?Remember honk if you love Jesus and text if you want to meet him.

ARS Title 13 Chapter 15
(Definitions 13-1501) http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/ars/13/01501.htm&Title=13&DocType=ARS
All Chapter 15 is applicable to those carrying a handgun and use one to defend your home.Â* Chapter 15 statutes are the most likely to be violated by those carrying a firearm.

This chapter is all about trespass and burglary...how does this apply to law-abiding citizens who carry? It is especially concerning to read the, "...[statute that is] most likely to be violated by those who [carry] a firearm."

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Incidentally, the URLs to the ARS pages have changed and the links should be updated in the pinned post. For example, the link to 13-1501 (https://www.azleg.gov/viewdocument/?docName=https://www.azleg.gov/ars/13/01501.htm) is: https://www.azleg.gov/viewdocument/?docName=https://www.azleg.gov/ars/13/01501.htm.
