We are launching our optional donating vendor account options. Please see the following chart and explanations below it for details.

Why should I become a donating vendor?
Donating vendor accounts are optional. This site is and always will be free to use but donating accounts can earn you special privileges and benefits on the site. This website is not free to run. We have to pay for software and hosting so we want the option for vendors to be able to give a little something back to us to help cover the costs of the site. In return for the support we are offering the benefits outlined below and greatly appreciate any vendor who chooses to purchase a donating account. Banner Ads


Supporting Vendor

Supporting Vendors will have the opportunity to place banner ads on the website. You must provide graphics to us that meet our specs (contact me for details). Supporting Vendor ads will be placed in areas like the side bar and forum footer. Your ads will rotate with other Supporting Vendors and Sponsoring Vendors. Your ads will be visible to public visitors and members who are registered with a free account. Donating members will not see ads. Banner ads can be changed every 30 days upon request.


Sponsoring Vendor

Sponsoring Vendors will receive banners that are placed on the top header, sidebar, and footer. Your banners will rotate with other Sponsoring Vendors on the header. In the sidebar and footer your banner will rotate with other Sponsoring and Supporting Vendors. You can provide graphics that meet our specs (contact me for details) or we can provide graphics for you upon request (please allow 7 days for us to create your graphics). Your ads will be visible to public visitors and members who are registered with a free account. Donating members will not see ads. Banner ads can be changed every 30 days upon request.



Vendor Classified Ads Per Week

Free

Free Vendors can post a maximum of 3 classified ads per week.


Supporting Vendor

Supporting Vendors can post a maximum of 5 classified ads per week.


Sponsoring Vendor

Sponsoring Vendors can post as many ads as they want (within reason, please don't flood the forum)


Endorsed Vendor Listing

Donating vendors will be listed in our endorsed vendors directory. The purpose of this directory is to have a resource for our members (and the general public) to have a list of known and trusted businesses that they can shop with. The Endorsed Vendor list is organized by category (gunsmithing, gun sales, NFA, refinishing, training, etc). Sponsoring Vendors will appear higher in each category than Supporting Vendors. If your business covers multiple categories then your name will appear under each applicable category. Additional conditions are listed at the bottom of this post.


Customer Avatar and Signature

As a donating vendor you will have access to have a custom avatar and signature. Supporting Vendors can have text only in their signatures and Sponsoring Vendors can have both text and one image.



Classified Ad Attachments

Free Vendor

Vendors with a free account can post a maximum of 2 image attachments per classified ad.


Supporting Vendor

Supporting Vendors can post a maximum of 5 image attachments per classified ad.


Sponsoring Vendor

Sponsoring Vendors can post a maximum of 10 image attachments per classified ad.


All image attachments are still subject to the maximum file size and dimensions. If your image is larger than the limits the website will automatically resize it for you.


Private Message Storage

Free Vendor

Free vendors can store up to 30 private messages.


Supporting Vendor

Supporting Vendors can store up to 100 private messages.


Sponsoring Vendor

Sponsoring Vendors do not have a storage limit.


Both sent and received messages are stored. When your storage is full you will need to manually delete old private messages before you can receive any more. If you need help figuring out how to do it just let me know and I'll walk you through it.


Dedicated Forum

For Sponsoring Vendors we will set up a dedicated sub-forum for you upon request for a $149 donation every year. You and your employees will be in charge of your dedicated sub-forum (you will have moderator privileges) that will be named after your business. You can use your sub forum for whatever you want. You can use it to advertise specials, answer customer questions, create discussion topics, or whatever. You're in charge of it and you can do with it as you see fit as long as it does not violate the normal forum rules. Your dedicated sub-forum is not a replacement for anything. You will still have normal access to the rest of the site. Your sub-forum is in addition to everything else. Renewal of the yearly donation will be the same date every year. So for example, if you got your dedicated sub-forum on 4/1/16 then your renewal would be 4/1/17. Please e-mail members@azgunbuy.com if you're interested in setting up your own custom sub-forum.


Other Points

All vendor accounts (even free) will still have the ability to post however many discussion topics they want, reply to other posts, use the live chat, vote in polls, and the rest of the normal forum functions.


How much does it cost?

Free

A free account is obviously free and this will never change.


Supporting Vendor

The Supporting Vendor account is $14.95 per month.


Sponsoring Vendor

The Sponsoring Vendor account is $24.95 per month.


Yearly accounts are available as well. For Supporting and Sponsoring Vendors who pay by the year, you will receive 1 month free (deducted from the donation price). You can sign up at http://www.azgunbuy.com/payments.php


How do I pay?

Payments can be made through PayPal and automatically renew each month. You can end your donating account at any time, but you must do so through your PayPal account. Other payment methods may be able to be arranged upon request. If you would like to pre-pay one year at a time please contact me so I can arrange it for you. Where does my money go to?

Your donations go directly to Arizona Guns - Buy/Sell/Trade LLC. We are a registered LLC in Arizona. We use the donations primarily for web hosting and software costs.

Can I get a refund?

The short answer is no. We do not offer refunds. If you end your donating account before the current month expires we will not issue a prorated credit for the remainder of the month. If we make a billing or payment error on our end we will fix it and make it right (like if you somehow get double billed or something).

Am I exempt from the normal forum rules?

No, you are still obligated to follow all of the forums rules as you normally would be. Rule violations will be handled in a normal manner just like they would be for any other member on the site.


I want to make a one time donation but do not want a donator account.
We can arrange this. If you would like to do this we would be extremely grateful for it. Please contact us at member@azgunbuy.com so we can arrange it for you.

The vendor account terms may change in the future. If there is a change though, your account will be grandfathered in until you renew and we will provide notice via a forum post before any changes.

We will only list businesses in the endorsed vendor list. For gunsmiths and dealers, this means that you must have a FFL. If you don't then we won't list your name. For trainers you must have a legitimate business. Those who refinish firearms (Cerakote, Duracoat, etc) will be notated if they carry the proper certifications or not.
