I am still very new to reloading
I have been using titegroup for 9mm, 45 and 38 special and have been very happy with it. I found when I tried to load something with a little more punch I used the load data to bump up the 38 special to 38+p but was less than thrilled. It just didnt seem to measure up to factory 38+p
After a bunch of research I learned about burn rates and that lead me to considering Winchester 231 for 38+p but am wondering if I can use it to load up .357. I am only making range ammo not carry as I don't have the confidence yet.
I know there are better powders for .357 but I am trying to keep costs down so if I can get away with the 231 and create great 38+p and ok 357 for the range that would be great.
any advice would be appreciated.
