Need wisdom from AZ shooters - locations to shoot

Greetings,I am traveling tomorrow (Sunday):Las Vegas to Kingman on hwy 93, Kingman to Williams on hwy 93/40, Williams to Camp Verde on hwy 89. My situation is that I have a nine year old girl that I am going to introduce to guns for the first time and I don't want any or at least not too many other shooters around.

I have never been through Arizona before. Can anyone recommend the best outdoor area that would be good to shoot at along that route? Thanks

Pretty much any state land or land that isn't posted no trespassers. Plenty of hills for natural backstop and washes to shoot into. I'm from Southern az so can't give you a specific area. Find a spot, have a good time. Pick up your trash/targets and don't shoot glass please.

Ummm.... that was 3 years ago. Kid is 12 now😂🤣

... and state trust land is a no-no for shooting on... just FYI
