I'm heartbroken this didn't work out, I did so much research into a high quality, lightweight, home-defense gun BUT with two torn up shoulders (rotator cuffs) I can't really even hold it out horizontal and thus I'm selling it brand new and un-fired. I figured if I can't hold it shooting it isn't a good idea.The Benelli Supernova-LE fires a wide range of 12 gauge shells; including 2.75's", 3" Magnum, and even 3.5" heavy loads. This is model 20159 and is a special police/law enforcement variant. This means it comes from the factory with both an extended mag tube (7+1) and adjustable/collapsible stock.
I have added the Acid Tactical flashlight, the extra shell side-saddle and even bought a OEM Benelli red fiber-optic front sight I have not even installed. I also picked up the Benelli case which is included and very high quality like all Benelli products
The Supernova is Benelli's improvement on the basic Nova pump action shotgun. It is lightweight, and tough. The receiver is made from a steel frame, with a mill-spec polymer mold around it. This construction allows the shotgun to weigh in at just 7.4 lbs. Also while the Nova's receiver and butt-stock are a single piece/unit, the Supernova's butt-stock is modular. It can be removed and replaced with different types and styles. The pump forearm is extended and includes a shell stop button to restrict feeding from the magazine. This is useful when a specialized shell is needed, and needed in a hurry.
