If someone wants an heirloom piece this is it.
I never thought I would sell this but it just doesn't fit in my collection as my only government size 1911. I'm all about compacts and commanders and that isn't going to change anytime soon. I only shot this twice --maybe 120 rounds-- although I have no lifetime round count.
It's in 95% condition, just look around the ejection area and the business end of the gun. The deluxe blue finish is simply to die for and the old school roll-mark, well, that's what got me in the first place. The action is incredible, it feels like the slide is on ball-bearings, it shoots extremely well and 3" groups at 50 ft are easily achievable with 129 grain Fiocchi.
I'll keep this if it doesn't sell for my stated price, no offers, sorry.
