Browning BAR Safari (BOSS) .300 Win Mag for sale

Your New Elk Rifle: I have a good problem: skipping the long story why, I now own two Browning BAR Safari rifles in .300 Win Mag. I would like to sell or trade one, it is an excellent condition BOSS model (muzzle brake and barrel harmonic balancer, "Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System" in their lingo). It's a beautiful rifle, topped by prior owner (I am the second owner) with a basic Bushnell Banner 6 x 18 scope. Yes it's an entry level scope, but I will try to post a picture of the elk I shot with it two years ago at 378 yards. It's a very accurate rifle, dead on, I regularly bang steel with it out to 600. Between the semi auto gas action and the muzzle brake, recoil is very modest (muzzle blast is not, so ear pro). Anyway, if anyone is seriously interested, I will send pictures of the rifle and me and the rifle with the elk. I own far too many hunting and military surplus bolt action rifles, but no modern short actions cartridges like a 6.5 PRC, and cannot justify having two of the same BARs. So, I am offering this rifle for sale for $900 OBO. If you look on Gunbroker, I don't think you will find a comparable rifle for under a $1,000. If you are interested, please text me at 520-256-1012.
