I prefer 1911 style but I also like S&W 5900 series pistols, I think they are under-rated.
I don't feel undergunned with a 9 but prefer .45.
100% agreed. I had a 5906 and it was an amazing gun. I'm still not happy that I got rid of it, and that was nearly 10 years ago. I did trade it for a running car though, so I guess I can't complain too much.Quote:

I once gave my wife a Taurus 85 for her birthday! Once she got over the thought I gave her a gun (she likes to think of herself as a "girly girl") she really enjoyed shooting and has continued enjoying it for the last 25 years. I usually carry one of a few Glocks that I own, but also just purchased an M&P 9c at auction! It looks great and just needed a good cleaning. Can't wait to hit the range! Curious what holster you are using for it - thank you. :)
