Another out of state gun purchase question

Read the thread by Jon listed before this thread, read the AZ laws about firearm purchasing,(however) I'm a Fl. resident, working in and out of Mesa and NM. if I read the law correctly, a pvt transaction can occur because in Fla, there is no waiting period for a long gun purchase and pvt party sales are legal. Saw a couple nice pew pew's in the classified and also read where a CA res. pulled his sale thread. I'm not looking to change this forum's rules or make waves, just saw a nice weapon, looks like it's legal for me to buy it from an AZ resident and live happily ever after Please advise, thx

Pretty much sure that you need to be a resident of the Great State of Arizona in order to make a private purchase regardless of choice of firearms.

Statute 13-3106 reads as follows: ​Non-residents can purchase firearms if:[COLOR=#2A2A2A !important]

• The firearm is legal in the buyer's home state;
• The transaction must be legal in the buyer's home state;
• Immediate possession of long guns is allowed if legal in buyer's home state;
• Handguns must be shipped by the dealer to another dealer in buyer's home state.

[COLOR=#2A2A2A !important]just by reading this, face to face pvt transactions are legal in FL., Immediate possession is allowed, long gun purchase only and I'm not from Cali. so if it's legal in FL and AZ it sounds like I'm ok.[/COLOR]

A gun. A bill of sale for your records is strictly optional. It is a private record maintained to show who the firearm was sold it. It offers no legal protection and is merely documentation of the sale/transfer.

What is the procedure to buy or sell a gun privately?

1. Meet Presumably, you either know each other or this is in regards to an ad on Armslist, Facebook, etc. Arrange to meet at a safe place (like a police station or well-lit and well-traveled area).
2. Buy the Gun Exchange money for the firearm. Be smart and carry a pistol if the other party is a stranger; you don’t know if it is a scam for a robbery or if someone up to no good sees money and a gun change hands.
