    sbr atf question

    Two questions
One I want to permanently change the barrel on my sbr to a different caliber and length. Do I have to change it with the atf as well if so how do i go about that.
Two I am moving how do i change that as well.
I did my stamp online if that matters at all.

Nope! ATF got rid of the notification of moving in 2013 and for the SBR you can change it as long as you aren't creating a destructive device (which isn't going to happen with an ar-15 )

If you are moving instate, you do not need to submit a form 20, though the ATF is really starting to push for people to do so. If you are moving, or traveling, out of state, you MUSt submit a form 20 and receive it back prior to crossing state lines if you are taking an SBR, SBS, machine gun, or destructive device. A form 20 is not required for silencers or AOWs, however, it is still is a wise idea to help prevent problems as you travel through other states (particularly states where those items are illegal).

    sbr atf que

So, say, I dont want just anyone disposing of my very first service weapon. Instead of money, could I just list my S&W model 28 .357 magnum serial #yadayada on my Schedule a and that would suffice. Im submitting a form 1 for an sbr.
