Hodgdon Varget is my choice for 55gr
I have been using H322 with 55gr powder coated lead bullets. I don't load them to max. They are just practice ammo. But cheap. About 10 cents a round. Varget will work great also.
What grain bullets are you planning on shooting? The best powder for 55gr soft point Plinkers is not necessarily the best powder for a 69 or 77gr bullet.
H335 works best for mid weight projectiles.
I don’t generally shoot 55gr other than in my bolt gun for coyotes or general use. But I use n130. It’s a good velocity and clean powder. With the. Cost of powders nowadays I’ve just about solely switched to vitahvouri powders in most my stuff.
you’d want a faster burning powder.
