Advice on doing safe & secure way to do firearm transactions

Can I get some advice on how to safely and securely buy or sell a gun via this forum. some questions I have:

• What kind of places are people meeting up to do the sale?
• Do most people meet at an FFL to do the transaction? or just do a private party transaction with no back-ground check?
• Is cash the common payment, anyone use Venmo?

QT parking lot backed in, plenty of cameras and a police favorite stop for the drinks and bathrooms. I'm always early. After that, a verification of the ID (bill of sale not needed and I choose not to), ask if they are a prohibited possessor, show the gun, trade for cash and wish each other well.
