The plastic fantastic on my VSAK cracked. I'm looking for a cheap second hand and I am even thinking about making my own. Anyone here have experience with that? It's not like they are done with filigree inlaid designs... (sarcasm, overstocked today so just tossing it out there)

Like anything if you have tools it shouldn't be too hard. It may be easier to repair the current wood. You could do an exotic wood if you make your own.

Sadly It is plastic, and through my own error it is a RAS47 with the black plastic furniture. (Black Rifles matter too)

I am looking for a good piece of wood that appeals to me, and have decided not to rush to find it, when I see it I will know.....
