I have one of the nicest 870s you'll ever see up for sale. All its work has been professionally done and no detail has been overlooked. I need to come up with funds ASAP so I'm willing to cut anyone a decent deal on it. I would however like to at least keep things somewhat fair on my end so please don't give me crazy lowball offers.

This gun is absolutely beautiful and one of the better 870 you will ever come across. I've invested a lot of time into this gun and it is done RIGHT paying attention to every detail along the way.

I need to sell ASAP due to an emergency. New these factory combo guns sell for $600 +/- and I have hundreds of dollars invested beyond that. In terms of investment, there is $1,100 - $1,200 worth. Make an offer

Here are the highlights on the 870

    • Pre-1994 (or pre-ban as some would say) Remington 870 Express. The serial number ends with a M indicating that it is a magnum, but the side of the receiver reads just "Remington 870 Express". What is the significance of pre94? There are no magazine tube dimples to limit round capacity and the trigger guard is metal instead of plastic like the new ones. The pre94 870s were considerably better than current production ones.
    • Factory Combo Gun meaning it came from the factory with a 20 inch (no choke) and 28 inch (choke threaded, includes 1 choke) barrel. The original factory box for the gun is included.
    • Basic metal work inside the receiver. Deburred all the rough edges and smoothed everything out to help the gun cycle smoother. The sharp edges on the bottom where you load have been smoothed over a bit so they aren't sharp.
    • Refinished with Parkote, a parkerizing process that is topped with a layer of moly coating. It produces a deep black appearance that is extremely durable. It is corrosion resistant and tough enough to stay looking good for a long time. (28 inch barrel is just parkerized, so it doesn't match)
    • Fiber optic rifle sights - front red and rear green. (on the 20 inch barrel) The front dovetail is a little loose and could probably use minor work. It will move under a bit of force, but normal use it stays put.
    • Factory Remington wood furniture. It isn't your typical brown, it has a strong hint of red in it and is really nice. The forend is the shorter police style. Wood is in good condition
    • Factory Remington tube extension. +2 rounds
    • New magazine spring
    • Vang Comp stainless steel follower
    • Volquartsen extractor
    • Basic trigger job to reduce trigger weight
    • Sling swivel studs front & rear

This isn't your run of the mill 870. This gun is absolutely beautiful and unlike any other 870 out there. Several members of the site that I've been shooting with will tell you that this gun is nice and shoots like a dream. Whoever winds up with this will not be disappointed.
