Ruger American pistol

Shot the new Ruger American Pistol at Caswells the other day. Gotta say, I'm impressed. Anyone have any thoughts on them?

I had shot one at Shooter's World during the initial "5 round" promo that Ruger did. I was impressed enough with it to purchase the pistol. So far I can't find any real negatives to it. It'll be a perfect nightstand gun.

I'm torn between a Beretta PX4 Storm and the Ruger American Pistol.

I too have had interest in the Ruger American but I think this pistol has changed my mind. It's a Rexzero.

Haven't seen any of those Rexzeros in a store around the valley yet. I would really prefer to shoot it before u buy it. The Rugers are in a number of rental cases around here so they are available to check out. Price point is nicer for me also on the American. $479 up at the Scottsdale Gun Club. Rexzero does look cool though.
