This is everything you'll need to get started with the Mosin. Includes rifle, 27 rounds of ammo (11 surplus steel core, 14 brass cased soft point, and 2 tracer), 17 stripper clips, 2 ammo pouches (MOLLE compatible), Hoppes boresnake, M-Pro 7 cleaner and lube, and bore patches.

The rifle itself is a Chinese copy of the Russian M44 carbine. The Soviets gave their toolingand machinery to the Chinese to produce these rifles, so they're every bit as good as the Russian ones, and in my opinion, even better. This particular carbine has the sling and cleaning rod included, which few surplus Type 53s have. The integrated bayonet is present and fully functional. The action is the smoothest Mosin action I've ever felt. I've never once had to force the bolt. The sights are rock solid and don't drift. The bore is in great condition and is still shiny. I detail stripped it and removed all the cosmoline. It's functionally the best Mosin I've ever held.

I've maintained this rifle wonderfully. I cleaned it immediately after every shooting session and lubed the bore to preserve it. I'm only selling it because I've gotten into competition shooting and don't use it any more.
