Non Az license or CCWs buyers

Has anyone seen an increase of buyers not having, at least, an AZ drivers license for Identification? I have had 5 people ask about a couple of pistols and all had out of state driver licenses.
I thought that I was easy going but if you WON'T get id for here, I am not selling.
My $ 0.02.
If these people want to live here they should get some form of AZ identification.

I admit I ask for AZ ID.

I know I am not required but I also have to look at me in the mirror (which is an unpleasant surprise each time, who is that old guy?) and if I don't like the vibes I get at any point I just say no.

I do believe the Second Amendment restricts the government, and NOT the citizen, but common sense (we remember that, though some libtards may not) and personal responsibility (what little I have remaining) makes me cautious. I applaud your standards of conduct! And if the other guy don't like it he can move on.......by personal choice. No force involved.

Not offended by the libtard comment at all. I have purchased most of my guns through FFLs. An FFL friend asked me if I still had a certain gat. He explained that the police department had asked him about it. That caused me to think it had been traded away to someone else other then the buyer who I sold it to. Since then I make sure the buyer is an AZ resident.
Like you guys said, my gat my choice who I sell it to.

Out of state non-residents can get an AZ ID. But they are STILL an out of state non-resident and selling them a firearm is a FELONY.

Ask to see their AZ drivers license and check the expiration date. Cover your behind.

You are not legally required to, but you should.

I am not offended when someone asks to glance at my AZ DL.

You can get an ID in multiple states - so an ID tells you nothing regarding the person being a resident in the state they are trying to purchase a firearm in.

DO NOT ACCEPT JUST AN ID. IT'S A VALID ARIZONA DRIVERS LICENSE OR NO SALE.

Just read another post on a different forum where the woman posting said her and her husband were pulled over for a license plate light that was out. This was in Marana. She stated that for whatver reason when they asked if they were armed and the replied yes that the officer ran the serial numbers of their weapons. Her husband had previously done a private party transcation for his.

It came back as being stolen. Luckily they had a bill of sale from the person they bought it from and the officer let them go home after confiscating the weapon. Many people never ask for a bill of sale but in ths case it helped them for sure. While the weapon and money paid is lost so far they haven't had to deal with being arrested for stolen property.

This is probably one transaction in a million lawfully carried out in Az. You probably have a better possibility of drowning in your bathtub. Absolutes just aren't guaranteed, in life, with, or without, an illegal required bill of sale!

We live in one of the last, basically, FREE STATES in the UNION. But, if we don't exercise our freedoms, they will be weakened.

Personally, I would want a copy of the stolen property report, before I would relinquish legally purchased property,... with, or, without a bill of sale.

I was following the same post. I just hope that thee officer gave them receipt showing that he confiscated the pistol. The post also included that the woman said they don't do it that way in Pennsylvania where she was from, but she had been in AZ for 10 years. Maybe she would be better off if she learned laws where she is living.
