Sometimes we don't like the rules - but most are there for a reason. Posting an item on multiple sites can have people here making efforts to purchase an item that may have sold elsewhere. As a courtesy to fellow members, items posted here need to be for sale exclusively here. You mentioned 'cross-posting' elsewhere and Yamil (who is a great guy) kindly mentioned that cross-posting is not on the up and up. You asked why it wasn't and I offered you a reference to the site rules. All of us agreed to the same conditions of attendance and participation. Good luck on your sale.
